Eddy Scheepers and Alfredo Villanueva Collado announce the creation of the Loetz.com Iridescent Inkwell I.D. Project.

Iridescent inkwells are usually identified as Loetz.  However, the vast majority are not.  The purpose of this project is to match inkwells to vases so as to determine a maker. We cannot proceed, however, without your cooperation.  Therefore, we are asking you to:

1. Send us a picture of any  iridescent inkwell that does not appear in the Inkwell Project page.

2. Send us a picture of any vase that matches an iridescent inkwell in decor.

3. Send us any pictures of matching vases and inkwells you might have in your collection.

So far we have been able to identify some inkwells as Loetz, Kralik,. Poschinger and Stoltze. If you have any relevant information on your inkwell or vase, please include it. All pictures should be accompanied by a written permission to publish (REMEMBER TO INCLUDE YOUR NAME).   Your pictures, properly credited to you, will appear on www.loetz.com

Pictures should be sent to alfavil@aol.com, alfavil@loetz.com or eddy@loetz.com

We want to thank the Society of Inkwell Collectors and The Czech Collectors Association for their support of this project.

PLEASE DO PASS THE WORD ALONG!
